BMW working on electric sedan 5 series in China, still can not get a diesel engine

Surely the time will come elsewhere, but for now an electric version of generous proportions BMW 5 Series sedan seems destined exclusively for China. As part of the company’s partnership with China Brilliance Automotive, BMW Brilliance Automotive intends to create a pure EV 5 of the series and to show it off this year – at some point.
No further details are known about the car, but is quite sure why this happens. Electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular there as China struggles to ignore a massive dependence on foreign oil and BMW saw a similar jump massive 87 percent in sales growth in China in 2010. Therefore, not his reason, but still have to wait a bit for the rest of the details.

Audi Auto Union Type C-tron study and puts his Pow-Pow-Power Wheels to shame

The maximum speed of 18 mph and a range of 15 miles? Charges in two hours? No, this is not the future of transportation we’re talking about here is a toy. A toy Audi, of all places.

The company has created this recreation with an electric motor and half of the scale of an Auto Union Type C Grand Prix driver of the 1930, and has apparently e-tron, using the nickname of his adult online electric vehicles, such as delicious and “tron Spyder.
This is designed for children of all ages – is less than 5’11″ and will be on display at the International Toy Fair Nuremberg. At this point there is no mention of a plan to produce or the price of an Audi if I did, but it is certainly one of those “if you have to ask” things – the body is completely of carbon fiber, and is not cheap.

AirPlay support video comes courtesy of Linux in the Totem media player plug in

This is so unnofficial as it gets, but Linux users now have a relatively easy way to receive and play streaming video to your PC via AirPlay Apple.
For best results, all you have to do is download a plug-in for the Totem media player (included with popular Linux distributions), install it in the usual form of Linux, and then start streaming video to your Linux PC with AirPlay as if it were an Apple TV. That’s it. Hit up the link below to find the plug-in, along with some more detailed installation instructions if needed.

Find Communities Meetup everywhere on the site overhaul

Meetup everywhere, a platform for brands and organizations to mobilize supporters in several places, launched a massive redesign today. The revised site not only its appearance but also its functionality.
The most important change is the ability of holders of accounts “to create the world Meetup Days” for their communities. This enables organizations to start a Meetup topic and date on your page Meetup everywhere, so it is more easy for them to mobilize supporters around a particular activity or topic. After World Meetup Day is created by the account holder is shown in the Meetup page for each community as an event. Then, Members may respond to assist, or strengthen the organization by the blockade in place and adding the details of the event.

Users can create their own Meetups, but the process is now much more collaborative. Any community member can suggest an idea, but leave the date, place and details in white. Other members can then fill in the fields, so a team of co-organizers of this event together. The beginnings of this trick came in late 2010, but have closed the circle with the ability to suggest only one subject. The best part? Meetup Other communities in the organization all over the page can “steal” ideas from peers and make them our own communities. “It’s the easiest way to team up for Meetups plan suggested by the lead organization or on the basis of ideas from local members of the community,” says Vice President of Strategy Meetup Andres Glusman.
Another difference that is exciting for both account owners and communities is the addition of images of the most active “profile in the left column of each page of the community. The photos with the stars in the lower right corner denote he or she is an organizer of a Meetup. Getting over an image displays the name of the person, the accounts of social media has linked to your profile and how many who have organized Meetups (if any). This organizations shows that users are super, while recognizing community members for their activity and give other members a way to contact potential co-organizers. In addition, communities are recognized in all parts of Meetup website, which now has a rating that shows most organizations Meetups sparks.
Aesthetically, the big change you’ll notice is on the map. Instead of your average Google Maps flags, Meetup has created its logo pins showing the number of communities in an area Meetup. As you zoom in, clicking on the flag of each community brings the exact location of that community and its membership.
In general, the new Meetup everywhere makes it easier to follow a local community, helping organizations and their fans engage more effectively. It comes at a time when many large organizations are changing their marketing efforts to show a more local.
Some organizations have already begun to take advantage of all parties Meetup of new capabilities. E-commerce site Etsy today launched a worldwide Meetup Day mobilize their communities to craft 596 Valentines for the elderly. New York Jets have started watching the AFC Championship games to their communities, while celebrating BabyCenter Parenting Guilt-free day.
What do you think of the new Meetup everywhere? Do use the platform to inspire more often? Sound off in comments.

Apple App Store hits 10 billion downloads

Now that the number of downloads of the application store for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPads everyone has comfortably exceeded the population of Planet Earth, which is expected to be able to put this story in bed until it collided with another factor of ten – and so unreasonable as 100 billion downloads of sounds, we’ll bet will not really so long.
So few days later by launching its online counter, Apple officially hit the mark of 10 million dollars, which is a lot of software in any way you look. So, Android Market, which is next?
